The local family studio · Robintek, ForeFront Web and The Media Captain are the kind of studio this means.
| What you're weighing up | OwCo Media | A local web shop |
|---|---|---|
| Finding out the price | Three prices on one page, with the deposit on each, before you talk to anyone. | Usually after a call or a written quote — worth asking for in writing. |
| How you pay | Once. A deposit starts the build, the balance at launch. | Usually by the hour or by the project, sometimes with a monthly care plan. |
| How long to live | First build in 5 days on the entry build, 15 on the largest. | On the shop's calendar, which depends on how full it is. |
| The tools behind it | The newest AI tools do the heavy lifting, so the build is fast and the price stays down. | Depends on the shop. Ask what they build with, and who keeps the files. |
| Who edits it later | You can, and everything is yours to change — we show you how in an hour. | Often the shop, on a care plan. Ask before you agree to one. |
| Keeping it running | Looked after at no extra cost. Small fixes, backups and text changes are covered by the price you already paid. | Often a care plan on a monthly fee — ask what it covers before you agree to one. |
| If it isn't right | Every dollar refundable in full until launch. | Ask what their terms are before any money moves. |
Their side describes how that route usually works for an owner, not one company's terms — the businesses named above each publish their own, and you should read them directly. Our side is what we do and what we charge, and it is on every page of this site.
Our side is live: Launch Site is $600, or $120 to start, first build in 5 days.
Pick that route if
When that route is the better answer.
- You want somebody you can drive to, and you'd rather sit down with them.
- You want the same person looking after the site for years, on a care plan.
- You're buying something unusual enough that a quote written by hand is the honest way to price it.
Pick us if
When we are.
- You want the number before the call, not after it.
- You want the first build in front of you this week.
- You'd rather not find out what a care plan costs after you've already paid for the site.
Either way
Look at what we actually shipped.
Three of the sites we built, each one openable live. If they're not what you'd want for your business, that's useful to know now rather than after a call.
The questions
Answered straight.
Is a local web shop cheaper than OwCo?
Sometimes, sometimes not — an hourly rate decides that, and you find out once you have a quote. Our three prices are published, so you can rule us in or out in a minute without talking to anyone.
Do you only work with businesses near you?
No. We're a Central Ohio studio and we build for owners all over the country. Everything runs by email with two quick reviews, and a 15-minute call only if you want one.
Why does OwCo publish its prices?
Because the alternative wastes your afternoon. You shouldn't have to send your details to a stranger to find out whether you can afford them. We'd rather you rule us out on the price than after a call.
What does an OwCo site cost?
Launch Site is $600, or $120 to start, first build in 5 days. Every package includes the design and build, connecting the tools you already run, search setup and going live — and any money paid is refundable in full until launch.

One line is enough and it costs nothing: you get the build we'd recommend, what it costs and how fast it can be live — before any money moves.
